TRASH REMOVAL and RECYCLING
1. The Dumpster container is located between units 7 & 9 for convenient disposal of
trash and garbage. No trash or garbage shall be placed on the curbs or anywhere else on
the common areas. Those who wish to participate in the Town of Hampton's recycling program
are reminded that the recycling bins provided by the town are not to be placed out at the
curb earlier than the evening prior to pickup by the Town of Hampton. Currently the town
picks up recyclables on Monday morning. To obtain a recycling bin, contact the Hampton
Department of Public Works at (603) 926-3202
2. All normal household trash and garbage items may be placed in the dumpster
container. Organic and/or liquid material (such as discarded food and food containers)
must be in tied plastic bags. Large boxes must be cut down or folded before being placed
in the dumpster. All items placed in the dumpster must be heavy enough to fall into the
collection truck without sticking to the containers or blowing away.
3. Large and/or heavy items (such as old refrigerators, TVs, packing crates,
mattresses, etc.) shall not be placed in dumpster containers. It shall be the
responsibility of the individual resident to make arrangements to take such refuse to the
Hampton transfer station.
